To shave with electric razor: a) Plug in electric razor. b) Apply preshave lotion as patient desires. c) Select appropriate electric razor head setting. d) Shave each area of the face until it is smooth. Use circular motion and press electric razor firmly against patient's skin. e) Apply after-shave lotion or talcum powder as patient desires. f) Remove, clean and store shaving equipment. 7. Place soiled linen in laundry. 8. Assist patient with comfort measures. 9. Wash hands. DOCUMENTATION : Document procedure and patient’s tolerance to procedure on Clinical Visit Note.
