Measure the largest transverse diameter of the induration with a flexible millimeter ruler. 6. Wash hands. 7. Record only measurable induration, always in millimeters, i.e., 5 mm, etc. 8. Notify physician of any induration noted. Patient or employee may be referred to local Health Department for follow up. 9. Document reading Mantoux Test Form or, for patients, in their Clinical Visit Record. ____________________________________________________
