STATE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS PURPOSE: To provide a process for recognizing and applying state regulatory requirements within the framework of administrative policy and procedure. POLICY: State regulatory requirements are identified and applied within the context of administrative policy. PROCEDURE: 1. The Agency administrator is responsible for identifying exceptional regulatory requirements that are state-specific and which affect the application of administrative policy and procedure. 2. State-specific regulatory exceptions are communicated to the Director of Nursing, Clinical Manager who will work with the agency administrator to orient staff to these requirements. 3. Amendments to state-specific regulatory exceptions are communicated to the Director of Nursing, Clinical Manager who will work with the administrator to orient the staff to these changes. 4.
