MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. 191 PATIENT INSTRUCTION SHEET WALKER • The following should be observed with regards to your walker: • The walker should be checked prior to use to see that all locking mechanisms are locked and functioning properly. • Throw rugs and other objects in the pathway of the floor should be removed. • Closed, sturdy shoes are recommended while using the walker. • The physician is responsible for instructing you regarding walking with the walker.
