MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. JOB INTERVIEWS POLICY The Home Health Care Agency interviews qualified prospective staff members when staff vacancies exist, depending on the agency’s staffing budget and administrative approval. PURPOSE To collect information about prospective Home Health Care staff members qualification for vacant staff position. PROCEDURES 1. In the interview with the prospective Home Health Care Agency staff members, the Director of Nursing, Clinical Manager of Home Health Care: a. Reviews the job description of the vacant staff position. b. Assesses the requirements of the Home Health Care staff vacant position. c. Reviews the prospective staff members Application for Employment from for incomplete information, the signature and the date of signature. d. Collets relevant additional information from the prospective Home Health Care staff members. e. Assesses the prospective Home Health Care staff members needs for reasonable accommodation to physical and/or mental limitations. f. Gives information to the prospective Home Health Care staff member regarding the vacant staff positions. 2. The Director of Nursing, Clinical Manager of Home Health Care: a. Documents prospective Home Health Care staff member interview information on an Interview Information form (See Interview Information Form). b. Assesses the prospective home health care staff member’s Application respect to the requirements of the vacant staff position. c. Documents the prospective Home Health Care staff member’s potential job performance on the Interview Information form. d. Assesses any other prospective Home Health Care staff members applying for the same staff position. e. Offers the vacant staff position to the most qualified applicant. f.
