LICENSURE RENEWAL POLICY: Each licensed/certified Employee is required by law to update professional licensure/certification to practice prior to the expiration date of their current license/certification. PROCEDURE: A. Licensed/certified Employees are responsible for providing a copy of their current license/certification and subsequent renewals to the Human Resource Department. B. Employees are responsible for maintaining licensure/certification requirements. C. Employees who fail to maintain licensure requirements may receive corrective action up to and including termination of employment. D. Falsifying the status of a license or knowingly performing patient care without a current license will result in corrective action up to and including termination and notification of the professional board.
