EXIT INTERVIEW FOR HOME HEALTH CARE STAFF MEMBERS POLICY The Home Health Care Agency provides opportunities for terminating Home Health Care staff members to participate in exit interviews. PURPOSE To collect and assess information regarding Home Health Care staff member job satisfaction. PROCEDURES The Director of Nursing, Clinical Manager of Home Health Care Agency: a. Schedules an exit interview with each termination Home Health Care staff member. b. In the exit interview, discusses with the terminating staff member the following topics: 1. Work environment. 2. Work assignments. 3. Staffing. 4. Wage and salary. 5. Personnel benefits. 6. Job transfer - promotion opportunities. 7. Job expansion-career development opportunities. 8. Interpersonal - intra departmental - peer relationships. 9. Informal - formal communication. 10. The Home Health Care staff member to which the staff member reported. 11. Education program. 12. Nutritional program. c. The staff member’s reason for leaving Home Health Care Agency. 1. Significant factors that influenced the staff member to leave. 2. What the staff member is looking for in a new job health care staff job satisfaction. 3. The staff member’s recommendations for improving Home Health Care staff member job satisfaction.
