MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. INVENTORY/FIXED ASSETS An inventory of equipment and supplies shall be conducted at least every six months. Equipment and supplies issued to employees shall be inventoried at least annually. Purchasing authority, product selection and periodic evaluations of products shall be the responsibility of the Administrator or their designee. A record of all Agency fixed assets of greater than $500.00 shall be maintained. Each item listed will also contain the date of purchase, description, total cost, vendor name, and serial number if available. INSURANCE AND BONDING The Agency shall have adequate business insurance coverage which may include the following: - General liability and property damage - Professional liability - Bonding - Worker's Compensation All insurance policies and rates will be reviewed on an annual basis to insure that coverage is appropriate and rates are competitive. FINANCIAL MONITORING On at least a quarterly basis an analysis of fiscal and statistical activity shall be prepared by the Administrator or financial manager which may include but not be limited to: Current assets Fixed assets, Liabilities Statement of income General and administrative expenses Year-to-date variance to budget Accounts receivable analysis Analysis of cost per visit Statistical report of Agency visits and services Cash flow analysis Aged Trial Balance Census Report Employee productivity report At least annually, the Administrator shall arrange for preparation of a cost report.
