The written contract must delineate the following parameter: The agency retains the responsibility for patient care and the school has responsibility for student education The necessity to conform to applicable agency policies and procedures, including confidentiality Insurance coverage by the school on student performance Expectations of students, faculty, and agency Method for joint agency and school evaluation of program Contracts are reviewed and/or revised annually EVALUATION ALL contracts will be reviewed prior to renewal. The review will include but not be limited to the following: · Record review for documentation of patient care · Reports of utilization review and audits · Reports of patient survey Reviewof educational contracts will also include an assessment by themanagerial staff regarding staff time and preparation for student experience.
