COMPLIANCE OFFICER JOB DESCRIPTION REPORTS TO: Administrator/Board of Directors JOB SUMMARY: A direct employee who is responsible for the various internal anti-fraud and abuse controls. Coordinates all aspects of the compliance program particularly areas that are susceptible to fraud and abuse. DUTIES: 1. Responsible for overseeing, and enforcing the policies and procedures set forth by the agency and standards of conduct. 2. Conducting effective training and education program. 3. Maintains an open line of communication between the compliance sub-committee and the agency’s employees for receiving complaints and protecting callers from retaliation, including anonymous reporting. 4. Performs internal audits to monitor compliance. 5. Establishes and publicizes disciplinary guidelines for falling to comply with detected offences through corrective action. 6. Provides prompt response to detected offenses through corrective action. 7. Enforce all Conflict of Interest guidelines and rules. 8. Enforce the compliance of all Local, State, Federal, Accreditation guidelines, standards and laws. 9.
