PERSONAL CONDUCT POLICY: MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. would like to ensure a positive and harmonious work environment, therefore, and employee is expected to conduct himself or herself in a manner which is conducive to the efficient operation of the Company. Such conduct includes but is not limited to: · Reporting to work punctually as scheduled and being at your work station or assignment ready to work at your assigned time. · Notifying your Supervisor when you will be absent from work or unable to report to work on time. · Complying with all Company safety and health regulations. · Performing assigned tasks efficiently and giving a productive day’s work to the best of your abilities and skills. · Eating meals during meal periods and only in designated areas. · Maintaining your work place and work area in a clean and orderly manner. · Treating all clients/patients and fellow employees with courtesy and respect. · Refraining from behavior deemed offensive or undesirable or which is subject to disciplinary action. · Displaying a cooperative and congenial attitude towards all clients/patients and fellow employees. · Working in harmony with each of the other employees in which you come in contact. · Complying with all rules, regulations and procedures established by MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. Certain employee conduct and performance is so serious and unacceptable that discharge or other disciplinary actionmay be the appropriate, regardless of how satisfactory the employee’s employment record may be. Following is a list of the type of conduct and performance that is likely to result in immediate discharge: · The use of alcoholic beverages on Company premises or reporting to work under the influence of alcohol. · The possession, sale or use of a controlled substance. · The possession of firearms or other weapons on Company premises and/or clients’ homes. · Insubordination or disobedience- the refusal of an employee to follow Management instructions concerning a job related matter. · Assault, physical or verbal abuse of a fellow employee, patient/client, patient caregivers or members of Management. · Theft, Sabotage or willful disregard of Company property or that of a fellow employee or patient/client. · Falsification of any record or report such as an application for employment, time sheet or any document in the medical record. · Disclosing information about a patient unless the specific work duties require the giving or exchange of such information. · Disorderly, unethical, unlawful or indecent behavior while conducting company business or engaging in illegal behavior while off duty. · Willful or careless disregard or inattention to proper working procedures and instructions, Home Health Agency. - - Personnel/Operations Policies B-148
