POLICY ON STERILE DRESSINGS MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. hereby sets the following standards relating to sterile dressings: All sterile dressings shall be kept in the sterile cupboard in our office. Employees who require sterile dressings and who subsequently check them out shall carry such sterile dressings in the available sterile bags from our storage. Sterile dressings shall be kept and handled in a manner that would not allow such dressings to be mixed with non-sterile dressings. Strict aseptic procedures and practices shall be observed by nurses whether in the office, en route, or in the home of a patient, as regards the handling of sterile dressings.
