MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. All nurses supervising IV medication infusions in the home must be competent in anaphylaxis management, certified in CPR (preferably ACLS) and proficient in starting peripheral IVs. The Registered Nurse assigned to Psychiatric cases must be Certified as Psychiatric Nurse. The Registered Nurse assigned to Wound/Decubitus care must be trained in Wound Care Protocol/Procedures. The Registered Nurse assigned to Parenteral feeding cases must be trained. The LPN assigned to IV therapy must be under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and can not initiate/finalized treatment. The Therapists Assistant (PTA, OTA, STA) must be instructed in the Therapy Care Plan, by a Registered Therapist before to provide follow up services to any patient. The Aide assigned to help patient with Self Administration of medication, must be trained 2 hours in the Self Administration of Medication. L-48 Home Health Agency Client Assessments
