AFFIRMATIVE ACTION POLICY POLICY It is the policy of The Agency to admit and care for all patients/clients without regard to race, color, national origin, or religious creed. The bylaws of the organization comply fully with Section 601 of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and with state human relations legislation. The organization agrees to comply with the provision of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all requirements imposed pursuant thereto, to the end that no person shall, on grounds of race, sex, age, color, national origin, sexual orientation, religious creed, or disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or otherwise, be subjected to discrimination in the provision of any care or service. PROCEDURE Employees are assigned to patients/clients on the basis of the employee's qualifications to provide the prescribed care for the patient/client, without regard to race, color, national origin, age sex, sexual orientation or religious creed of either the patient/client or the employees. The employee's qualifications to provide the care needed by the patient/client is the relevant factor in personnel assignment. Decisions on employment of personnel are made on the basis of qualifications of the employee and the needs of the organization without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation or religious creed.
